The Executive Chairman Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has paid glowing tributes to his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Wasiu Olowu, on his birthday.
Alhaji Olowu, who is celebrating his birthday today, was a former honourable councillor and former supervisor, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
In a statement by the council boss, Aroyewun commended his most senior aide for his quiet nature, humility, sense of duty and commitment to service.

Aroyewun described him as a man of the people.
”On behalf of this administration, I am pleased to celebrate Hon. Wasiu Olowu, Chief of Staff to the Chairman Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Developmental Area, on the occasion of your birthday.
”There are men who carry their titles loudly. Hon. Wasiu Olowu is not one of them. He leads with humility, the kind that does not perform itself, but shows up quietly in how he treats people, how he listens, and how he works. It is no surprise that across staff, community members, and colleagues alike, he is a man genuinely liked and respected. That is not a small thing in public service.

”His dedication to this office is not the kind that clocks in and out. It is the kind that stays with the work through complexity, through pressure, through the long hours that governance demands. He brings discipline and loyalty to every responsibility without complaint, without fanfare, ” the council chairman said.
While congratulating him, he also attributed the organised system in his administration to his Chief of Staff.
”This administration is better organised, better coordinated, and better positioned because of him.
”On your birthday, Hon. Wasiu Olowu, I say this plainly, you are an asset to this office and a blessing to the people we serve.
”May this new year reward you with the same warmth, goodwill, and dedication you pour into everything you do.
”Happy Birthday, Chief of Staff. Long life and good health to you.”
